Cyberpunk 2077 was postponed

CD Projekt announces something that will make some games breathe easy this spring, if the games could breathe and react to ads. Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed until September 17, 2020.

The reason? They made a massive game. Huge. Giant. Of a size that makes The Witcher 3 look small by comparison. And the biggest problem with such a game is that it has to be tested. It has to be tested very, very much. So CD Projekt needs these extra few months for the game to be thoroughly tested, and the end result is so good that it will be worth the wait for almost a decade.

Cyberpunk 2077 postponed

The sound you can hear now in the distance is Square Enix running to the handle that says “Cancel Avengers”, which was only postponed for September.

Personally, I think it’s a waste. Not Avengers, he was always a waste. But to postpone it, and launch it in September, instead of launching it on July 7. It would have been 2077 if we had read the date in reverse.
